Evan & Jillian head to a special screening of the new movie Planes: Fire & Rescue! They got to interview Roberts Gannaway and Ferrell Barron, the director and producer of the film. They told us all about the research and planning they had to do while making the movie. They also told us about some of the new characters like Blade Ranger, Windlifter and Dipper.
We then met Cal Fire Battalion Chief, Travis Alexander. Cal Fire (California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection) served as creative consultants and helped give the creators an inside look on the world of wildland firefighting. Travis told the kids how Cal Fire played a part of the planning of the movie and also shared some of the important things that go along with being a firefighter.
