This week, we took a trip to Walmart to get some storage containers for MommyTube. Of course, while we were there we went over to the Skylanders aisle to see if they had anything new. After finding Glitter hot Head and Purple Eye Brawl there, this is our favorite Walmart in the world!
This trip did not disappoint! We found the new single figure of Gnarly Tree Rex. There were a bunch of them hanging on the display. So we picked one up so we could do a Father vs. Son battle mode for next week's Skylander of the Week unboxing. It should be fun. We'll do Gnarly Tree Rex vs. Tree Rex.
After that we took a trip over to another Walmart in town just to show you guys what they had. It was pretty disappointing. No Gnarly Tree Rex here. Just a small selection of Giants and core Skylanders.
When we got home, we had one more place to go Skylander Hunting...our MAILBOX! We had heard that people were starting to receive their Frito-Lay Skylanders Giants Promo Sidekicks. And sure enough, there was a small white box waiting for us! We opened it up to find the Eye Small sidekick! Very cool! We'll be showing that soon on EvanTubeHD.
The next day, I check the mail and found a second white box. It was the Thumpling sidekick! COOL!. I took it in to show Evan while he was building the Legends of Chima Lion Chi Temple. We give you a little preview and behind the scenes look at what goes on behind the camera at EvanTubeHD. I also give you guys a preview of all the toys we'll be reviewing in the near future.
