Time to check out our top ride-on toy of the year! It's the new and improved 2014 Razor Crazy Cart! We mounted the GoPro to get some fun shots.
The new cart features a new paint job, added leg room and stability.
In this new model, they moved the battery from behind the seat to the front next to the motor. This allowed the seat to be moved further back giving more leg room for the rider.
They also replaced the front caster wheels with stability pegs, which decreased the amount of drag. And the rear wheels are now positioned wider with an added bar for stability.
One item that we were surprised to see missing was the safety seat belt/harness. We're thinking that the old seat belt didn't provide much in terms of safety and might have even been a little dangerous if the cart flipped over. With the cart riding so low to the ground, risk of injury is minimized when wearing appropriate safety gear.
Us parents tried it out in the most extreme conditions and walked away unscathed. We probably should have worn safety gear as well.
Battery life was good. We had a pretty good session and the rain wound up stopping us before the battery did. We'll try and do a more comprehensive battery test and report our findings here when the weather improves.
