While visiting the California State Capitol, we stopped by the 2012 Sacramento Reptile Show and Expo at the Convention Center.
They had all kinds of reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, and insects! The best part was that you could hold and touch them. I liked holding the bearded dragon the most. The snakes were cool too. At first, I was afraid to touch the tarantula but I did it anyway. It wasn't too bad. My sister even let it walk on her hand.
They also had an albino alligator that you could pet and take pictures with. My mom liked the tortoise and baby turtles. Jillian liked the rattle snake. They had a cool owl too. But I'm not sure why it was at a reptile show.
Most of the reptiles were for sale. I bought a Spanish Ribbed Newt that I got to take home. I will make a video of that soon.
